Mexican Wedding Cake

1 c. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans, finely chopped

Procedure:

Cream butter and sugar, add flour, nuts and vanilla. Make into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and roll in powdered sugar, or shake a few times in a sack of powdered sugar. When cooked, roll or shake again in powdered sugar. Store in cool, dry place. Makes about 100 balls.
