Recipe A: Cream Cheese icing with orange tinge

    Ingredients used in the icing are:
  • 4 sticks of softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons of orange juice
  • 4 packs of softened cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of milk
  • 16 cups of confectioners sugar
  • 2 teaspoons orange rind

    Method used to prepare icing is:
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix butter and cream cheese until it becomes soft and creamy
  • Add milk and sugar to the butter mixture. Beat the mixture with a beater to make it fluffy
  • In the end, add orange juice and orange rind to the creamy mixture and mix well
  • Use the icing on the cooled down cake

Recipe B: Chocolate Butter cream Icing

    Ingredients used in the icing are:
  • 1 cup of Vegetable shortening
  • Half cup of melted unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 8 cups of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 8 tablespoons of milk
    Method used to prepare icing is:
  • Mix shortening and butter in a big bowl until a creamy mixture is formed.
  • Add vanilla and chocolate to this mixture and beat it with an electric blender.
  • Slowly add sugar, cup by cup and continue mixing with the blender.
  • The mixture looks dried after adding the entire sugar. Then add milk to the mixture.
  • Beat until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
  • Icing is ready to be applied on the cake.
